At the museum we offer a loan box for hire, full of interesting objects, information and artefacts from the carpet making industry.

Included in your loan box :

• Textile samples
• Fleece, yarn and hessian samples
• Tufts, bobbins and ‘cheese’ cones
• A wooden shuttle
• Carpet sample squares (Wilton and Axminster) 
• A history overview pack for teachers
• A photo set showing images of factories, technology, factory workers, housing, carpet making techniques and carpet patterns.
• Images and maps of Kidderminster through the ages

Boxes are available for two week loan periods for £12 per loan period. Boxes are to be collected and returned to the museum.

Loan boxes are not only for schools, any group is welcome to borrow one.
